Hello! I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in individual therapy for adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, grief/loss, and other life transitions. I'm a first-generation Chinese American trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and a certified grief counseling specialist (CGCS). I have experience working with a diverse population and especially love working with adult children of immigrants and bereaved clients. I tailor my sessions according to the individual needs of each client and I believe that therapy should be warm, collaborative, and rewarding.

How often do we meet and how long are sessions?
That is entirely up to you and your needs. Most of my clients I see every 1-2 weeks. Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.

Where are you located?
I am currently seeing clients via tele-health only.

Do you only take clients in the LA area?
No. I am licensed in the state of California and am able to see clients anywhere in the state via tele-health.

Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately at this time I do not accept insurance. I am happy to provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if your current plan provides coverage for out-of-network providers. I highly recommend that you call your insurance company to find out how much they reimburse and if there is a deductible you need to meet first.

How much are your sessions?
I charge $165 for an individual 50-minute session.

Do you offer a sliding scale?
I reserve a few sliding scale slots based on need. If those are already taken I’m happy to refer you to other resources.
